Inspired by Dave’s Phasor Cycles Electric Mountain Bike, I led a full DIY project to create my own version. I coordinated frame design and powder coating, sourced all components, and personally assembled the electronics, wiring, wheels, and final build. The result was a powerful, custom-built electric mountain bike that I enjoyed riding for years.
Key specs: 26" wheels (3" rear, 2.5" front) with Kenda Flame tires, a 48V LiPo battery (20Ah), EVEL BLDC 1000W 30A controller, and 1kW rear hub motor. Suspension featured an X-Fusion rear shock and dual-crown Marzocchi Bomber fork. Braking relied on Avid BB7 mechanical calipers.

Tired of tools getting lost in a cluttered drawer, I built a compact organizer from a small case and layered foam. Each slot was cut to fit specific tools, with multi-level storage so larger items sit above smaller ones. Sharp instruments are stored safely, everything stays in place and accessible. This setup has been with me for years, proving its practicality in daily use.
The best tool is the one you don’t notice – because it simply does its job when you need it.

In 2008–2009 I carried out a full renovation of my own three-room apartment, doing most of the work myself. I completed all the preparatory stages, poured screeds with waterproofing and thermal insulation, installed the entire electrical wiring with outlets, switches, decorative and main lighting. I also designed and built all the drywall constructions, including repairing of some walls.
I gained significant experience working with construction materials and tools. What I enjoyed most was working with drywall – the ability to design original solutions and immediately bring them to life. Drywall also made it possible to level walls and ceilings and add partitions wherever needed.
